Company Info

Hannover House is a full service media company, specializing in the production and distribution of feature films in the DVD and Blu-Ray Markets. Formed in 1993, Hannover House concentrated it’s activities exclusively in the literary, book-publishing industries until 2003 when the company entered into the DVD marketplace. Now, with over 70 DVD titles in active distribution, Hannover House has quickly ascended to a dominant role as a leading, independent distributor of DVD’s. The company is particularly noted for its successes in placing DVD titles within mass merchandisers and key chain stores.

Retailers carrying Hannover House products include thousands of independently owned and operated retail video stores and book stores, including Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Blockbuster Video, Borders Group, Fred Meyer Group, Hastings, SAM’S Club, Transworld Group and Wal-Mart as well as all major Internet retailers.

Encouraged with the company’s steady growth in the DVD arena, Hannover House expanded into theatrical distribution in 2007, with an impressive slate of films growing each year.

Book publishing remains an important component of the Hannover House strategy. The company’s October 2003 release of “Blood, Money & Power: How L.B.J. Killed J.F.K.” reached the # 1 bestseller’s position for Amazon.com (nonfiction / history). Author Barr McClellan is preparing a follow-up release to his “Blood, Money & Power” detailing the aggressive efforts to suppress his insider’s evidence and censor media coverage.

Completing the company’s vertically integrated growth plans, original feature film and documentary productions figure prominently into Hannover ‘s current activities. Hannover House is actively developing four theatrical-caliber feature films for production in 2011 and six made-for-video specialty productions or documentaries.

Standard and established Industry Wholesale Terms & Conditions apply.

Hannover's History

Hannover was established in 1993 as a California corporation. Hannover House concentrated its activities exclusively in the literary, book-publishing industries until 2003 when the company entered into the DVD marketplace. Hannover House expanded into theatrical distribution in 2007.

In 2003, the company published the book Blood, Money and Power: How L.B.J. Killed J.F.K. by Barr McClellan, which argues that the assassination of President John F. Kennedy was arranged by his vice-president and successor, Lyndon B. Johnson. Barr McClellan is the father of Scott McClellan, a White House press secretary under George W. Bush and Mark McClellan, commissioner at the United States Food and Drug Administration when the book was published.

In December, 2009, Eric Parkinson and his operating partner D. Frederick Shefte, entered into an agreement to reverse merge with the publicly-traded Target Development Group, Inc. Simultaneous with the December 1st merger transaction, the officers and directors of Target were restructured to add Hannover House executives to the board, with Eric Parkinson also tapped as Chairman / CEO and Fred Shefte as President.
